My business is a HR Consultancy but with a huge difference. I create and implement long term proactive HR services not reactive short term quick fix solutions.
My mission is to ensure employees are treated like humans, their basic workplace needs are met by their employers and ultimately the need for people like me who are brought in to fight ‘people related’ fires, are not needed because the fires aren’t even started. These fires cause massive barriers for success to businesses and can be avoided in a huge number of cases.
Supporting businesses to go back to basics, to shift their mindset and focus on their staff – because without them they probably don’t have a business! – is my driving force.
Breaking down over-complication and over-compliance, and removing the ‘fear’ tactics that some short-sighted solutions use, at the expense of long-term effectiveness, and create a unified and sustainable culture, is the core of my business.
I specialise in helping technical, professional, and creative services businesses that are either experiencing or expecting accelerated growth, to develop and adopt bespoke and mission led HR strategies and solutions that achieve maximum engagement and optimum performance by people at every level and relationship to the business.
About (Name):When I’m not building the business I love spending fun and chilled time with my husband and son. After growing up in Grangetown, living in Bristol for a while, my heart lives in the Vale of Glamorgan – currently in Sully. I’ve found a love for camping and cycling which isn’t unusual but for someone who was more concerned about how straight their hair is and how many pairs of shoes they owned its a big change 🙂
I adore books, I must be around them and a library is one of my favourite places to take time out.
I love a good quote and you’ll find me sharing these on social media, a few words that strike a chord can be so powerful and transformational – my favourite is ‘You’re always one decision away from a totally different life’ – remembering I have choices is a daily practice for me.
What you see is what you get with me so I let my clients know not to expect unicorns and rainbows but to expect boldness, realness, laughter, being challenged and ultimately results.
