What we collect

  • Basic information about your organisation type or specialty

  • Preferences of services you are or might be interested in
  • Other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

Such information is only collected from you if you voluntarily submit it to us, for example, through our event booking forms or sign up processes online or in person.

Non-personal data:

Like many websites, we gather statistical / analytical information on an aggregate basis of all visitors to our website. This non-personal data cannot be used to identify or contact you and includes demographic information such as IP addresses, browser types, device types, city/country location and other anonymous statistical data involving the use of our website.

We reserve the right to transfer information (including your personal data) to a third party in the event of a sale, merger, liquidation, receivership or transfer of all or substantially all of our assets provided that the third party agrees to adhere to the terms of the privacy policy.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we operate all suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard your information. Your personal data is held on secure servers hosted by our Internet Service Provider.

As you may be aware, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we will take all reasonable steps to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee security of any information you transmit to us via the Internet.

We ask for your payment details to process payments for events, products and other services. We do this through secure third party websites such as  Eventbrite, our accountinng software, QuickFile and direct debit provider, Go Cardless. As we use third parties to process payments, Zokit does not hold any of your payment details unless you are a supplier and we need these details to make a payment to you, or you have requested a refund by BACS.

You should not send us such data by email unless expressly agreed in person with an authorised individual in this company.

Consent

By disclosing your personal data to us, whether using our website, telephone services or otherwise, you consent to the collection, processing and use of your personal information by Zokit in accordance with the terms of this privacy policy. If you do not agree to our use of your information, we regret that we cannot accept your booking and/or engage in business with you.

Data Subject Access Request

You are entitled to ask us by letter for a copy of the information we hold about you and how it is used. There is a charge of £10 for this service and we will respond to requests within 40 days of receiving your written request and fee.

How we use cookies
